Code 8 flashing is used in a variety of applications. Suitable for flat roofing, creating parapets and valley gutters, it can also be used in dormers, bay roofs and canopies. However, using code 8 lead for soakers, vertical cladding and pitched roofs is not advisable, as it’s often too heavy and thick for these areas.
Code 8 lead flashing is 3.55mm thick and meets the BS EN 12588 standard. It weighs 40.26kg per square metre, and our code 8 lead rolls are supplied in 6m and 3m lengths by leading specialist Calder. We know projects vary, so you’ll find a range of different widths available enabling you to pick the one that meets your requirements.
